RAINY NIGHT

There will come soft rains

I used to say when things didn't come as I expected or when I saw a light before sunshine.

But now I see it clear. The rain is just a premonition... and a gloomy one.

I expected equity, but I've got the same old and tired roles.

I need to downgrade. I wanted more, I expected more. But I've got just the same.

And the same doesn't deserve the best.

Sadly.
