Es un espectáculo lamentable. Una señora restirada como un globo muy inflado se proclama una de las mujeres de Pedro Infante y anuncia que ha publicado un libro acerca del cantante más famoso de mediados del siglo XX, un libro que seguro será muy curioso porque la mujer declara que durante más de 25 años negó su muerte.
En fin. Qué bueno que ya pasaron las celebraciones del medio centenario de la muerte de Pedro Infante. Fue terrible estar viendo una y otra vez celebraciones de un tipo que se murió hace ya más de medio siglo y cuya única herencia ha sido una retahíla de pleitos entre sus herederos, quienes se disputan ser los mas infantistas de los infantólogos.
Se que hay quienes consideran a Pedro Infante un poco como Carlos Gardel, de quien se dice que cada año canta mejor. Pero yo creo que al pobre de Pedro Infante tiene como condena por sus pecados el tener que pasar sus aniversarios luctuosos con su cadaver siendo sacado de su tumba y paseado por los noticieros televisivos. Una desgracia sin fin.
SANDBOX: AND NOW, THE STUPID VIOLENCE
It could be really stupid to blame a whole coutry for the crimes commited by a lunatic who decided to become Ismail Ax and pay tribute to the devils inside his brain. But I (and maybe lots of people abroad) think that all this bloodbath could've been stopped before it started if this guy didn't have access to guns.
Yeah, I know americans have a longstanding relationship with guns and feel they have the necessity to get armed to "defend themselves". Reading some posts in blogs I just can feel frightened by some guys who say the solution resides into allowing teachers and students to carry guns inside school rooms.
When I read those posts I think that one of the main issues in american society resides in ther incapacity to realize the days of the wild west have gone a long time ago. They defend their right to possess weapons as they were living in the middle of the jungle. Hey guys! You have the most sofisticated army in the world, you have the highest proportion of people in jail per capita... and you still feel so unsafe that you need to keep guns at home.
United States is a great country, but these contradictions make me think you need more wisdom than power.
